by Jan Lea C. Aurestila, Leizyl B. Clavite, and Jhenica Jane R. Pagon of Bohol Island State University

This project was completed by a three-person team, where Jan Lea Aurestila was the lead designer, Leizyl Clavite served as the researcher, and Jhenica Jane Pagon served as the editor and reviewer.

Roughly translated to English as "Acts of Compassion" or "Deeds of Kindness," Kabuhat sa Kalooy shows how small acts of kindness can make a big difference through creativity and sustainability. This project is based on a simple idea that reminds everyone that caring for others and our surroundings can start with something small but meaningful.

When asked why she is interested in STEM fields, Jan Lea had the following to say: "I'm someone who’s always curious about how things work and how technology can make life easier. That’s why I chose to study Computer Science, I enjoy solving problems and creating something useful through coding. For me, STEM is not just about science or numbers, but about using creativity to build solutions that can help people and make a positive change."
