Here's what the author had to say about their work:
Bioinformatics shows how biology, computer science, programming, mathematics, and data science can work together to solve real-world scientific problems. By using tools like R, Python, machine learning, and data analysis, researchers can study DNA sequences, identify mutations, organize large datasets, and even search for possible drug targets and biomarkers.
This field is becoming more important as biological data continues to grow through new technologies like DNA sequencing. While bioinformatics faces challenges in data storage, analysis, reproducibility, and standardization, its future is promising. With artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and big data tools, bioinformatics helps turn complex biological information into discoveries that can improve science and health.
