ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Students who come from low income communities and rural areas, including indigenous groups, face systemic barriers to accessing high quality STEM education. Since 2022, Mano Amiga Philippines has been working with 3M Philippines to make STEM education more accessible and meaningful for our students. In this year’s STEM Link Up program, we held smaller, more in-depth meet-ups in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. The meet-ups also served as an opportunity for the students to build professional networks, giving them access to support systems that could help enhance their career trajectories.
